These terms cover Margin Checkup’s services, this website, our client portal and the texts you send to our number. Margin Checkup is a trade name (DBA) of Feline IT Technologies LLC, a Florida limited liability company, 1935 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, Florida 32792. “We” and “us” mean Feline IT Technologies LLC, doing business as Margin Checkup.
What we do
We give small businesses, mostly pet businesses, information to make decisions: monthly reports built from the bank, card and point-of-sale data the client shares with us (KPIs, an owner’s P&L and cash flow, in a private portal), and consulting sessions that review those numbers. What each client receives, and its price, are agreed with that client in writing. If a written agreement with you says something different from these terms, the written agreement applies.
Your data and your accounts
- You send us exports and files; we never ask for logins or passwords to your bank or card accounts.
- You confirm you are allowed to share the data you send us.
- We use it only to do the work you asked for, show it to nobody outside Margin Checkup, and delete statements 12 months after we receive them, or sooner if you ask. Our privacy page has the details.
The portal
Access to the portal is personal: only the people we add can sign in, and each person sees only the businesses they were given. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if someone should no longer have access.
Text messages
Clients can text receipts and questions to (855) 726-0050, as described on our texting page.
- Who and how you agree: the number is for our clients. You start the conversation; by texting it you agree to receive replies from Margin Checkup about your receipts and your account. We send no marketing or promotional texts.
- How often: only in reply to you, or about a receipt or question you sent. The number of messages varies.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop: reply STOP at any time. We confirm once and send nothing more. Reply START to begin again.
- Help: reply HELP, or write to hello@margincheckup.com.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We don’t share or sell mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for marketing.
Our reports are information, not advice
Our reports and sessions are based on the data you give us and are meant to help you decide. They are not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and they don’t replace your accountant. Decisions about your business remain yours, and we can’t promise a particular result.
Fees and ending the service
Fees, billing and how either side ends the service are set in your written agreement with us. When the service ends, we delete your statements as the privacy page describes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits.
Changes and the law that applies
If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and its date; for changes that affect work under way, we’ll tell you directly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
